With 15 teams already signed up, I may cap it at 16 unless interest spikes. Still works great with 16 or 24 team format and All-Star game still will be played.
18 Thrilla in the Villa V
The tournament is accepting teams from SWOL and surrounding leagues. The teams will be put into 4 team pools and play each team in your pool once. The pool winners will be in one tournament (Heavyweight Champions), Second place will be in another (Cruiserweight Champions), Third place yet another (Welterweight Champs) and finally Fourth place (Bantamweight Champs). Weather permitting, everyone gets 3 pool play games and at least 1 tournament game. Four “title belts” will be awarded.
The cost of the tournament is $550 per team and includes umpires (2 for all games), baseballs and a potential for 6 games.
